4.5. Ren and Griffin were just right
I am amazed at how much I enjoyed this story. It just blew me away with how wholesome, simple yet lovely the journey towards love felt for Ren and Griffin.
I loved the begin and how the author set up the curse. I loved the family’s closeness and how nosy they are all about each other’s business. I loved how the dad had the grown kids as his taste testers. This story just flowed so well with the plot, the small town, the family and the new girl in town.
The romance was believable, gentle and yet solid in it’s own
I really liked Ren, the Algebra teacher, as she was working to solidify her independence. I’m glad she was able to bell Griffin heal from that New Orlean’s palm readers curse. I believe in curses so I didn’t fault Griffin’s fear. He should have just returned and got another person to undo the spell.
